From day one, you'll have access to hands-on learning and mentorship through development programs like IGNITE and Bears Academy, designed to build your skills and confidence as you begin your career.

If you are enrolled or recently graduated from an accredited Technical or Vocational school, the IGNITE program is for you!
This 4-month internship is designed to provide students exposure to various field operations positions across Kodiak and provide real-life skills in the gas compression industry.
Industry Training
Participate in Kodiak’s Technician Fundamentals training program
Exposure Through Rotations
Experience various field operations roles across different geographic regions, gaining valuable exposure to different equipment
Job Placement
Complete the IGNITE program, and get hired on as a Kodiak employee

On-the-job Mentorship Program
The goal of this program is to deploy equipped, safe, knowledgeable, independent, and confident employees into the workforce.

Short Service Employee Program
- Mentor program established for a newly hired field service employee with less than six months of employment at Kodiak and less than one year of industry-specific experience.
- Managers, mentors and EH&S work together to teach, monitor and sign off on competencies through various stages of the program.
- Easily identified on location by highly visible hard hat
- Ensures a smooth transition from mentorship to independent employee.

Experienced Service Employee Program
- Mentor program established for newly hired field service employees with less than six months of employment at Kodiak and more than one year of documented industry-specific work experience.
- Employees are required to demonstrate competent skills, however due to their industry experience, may be on an expedited schedule.
- Easily identified on location by highly visible hard hat
- Ensures smooth transition from mentorship to independent employee.
Innovative Partnerships
At Kodiak, we have established multiple partnerships through various non-traditional institutions of higher learning to ensure a pipeline of qualified candidates into the gas compression industry. These partnerships allow students to gain knowledge and experience through hands-on learning and develop relationships with hiring managers within Kodiak.
