Summary

Responsible for developing and executing a strategic investor relations plan and maintaining robust relationships with the investment community while ensuring regulatory compliance. Serving as a liaison between Kodiak and the investment community, help craft the company’s investor relations narrative and messaging to build confidence in the long-term growth story, support the planning and execution of investor events, and broaden the company’s investor base through proactive outreach.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support the development of an investor relations narrative that encapsulates the company’s vision, strategic direction, and key value drivers to foster investor confidence and support for long-term value creation.

  • Regularly evaluate and refine the investor relations strategy to ensure alignment with the company’s operational milestones, financial performance, and market dynamics.

  • Proactively identify and engage with potential new investors and analysts to broaden the company’s investor base and enhance stock liquidity.

  • Support the planning, writing, and distribution of all investor- and market-related communications, including but not limited to the weekly IR dashboard report, press releases, and annual reports.

  • Coordinate with the corporate communications team to support public announcements on significant corporate events.

  • Help organize and execute earnings calls, including the preparation of remarks and the coordination of Q&A sessions to ensure a coherent and consistent message to the investment community.

  • Support the planning and organizing of roadshows, and participation in investment conferences.

  • Facilitate one-on-one meetings between company executives and key investors/analysts to deepen relationships and provide detailed insights into the company’s strategy and operations.

  • Conduct ongoing analysis of industry trends, competitor performance, and market sentiment to inform strategic decisions and investor communications.

  • Monitor changes in securities regulations and industry best practices to ensure compliance in all investor relations activities and communications.

  • Serve as an advisor to management on the implications of market perceptions and investor feedback on corporate strategy and communications.

  • Work closely with the corporate communications, legal, finance, and operations teams to ensure a unified message across all public disclosures and to leverage expertise in developing materials that accurately reflect the company’s performance and prospects.

  • Review the investor relations section of the company website, ensuring it serves as an effective tool for communication and information dissemination to the investment community.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to highlight the company’s commitment to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles in communications with the investment community.

  • Develop and disseminate reports on the company’s ESG initiatives, achievements, and goals to meet the growing interest and requirements of investors and regulatory bodies in sustainability and corporate responsibility.

  • Establish mechanisms to gather and analyze feedback from the investment community, using insights to adjust strategies and communications as necessary.

  • Help prepare slides and reports for the Directors and senior management on investor sentiment, the performance of IR activities, and recommendations for enhancing shareholder value.

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field. MBA and relevant certifications preferred.

Work Experience

  • Minimum of 8–10 years of relevant experience, including prior Investor Relations roles or equity research.

Skills & Abilities

  • Excellent business and financial analysis skills, including expertise in Microsoft Excel financial modeling and preparation of presentation materials.

  • Strong writing, reasoning, and oral communication skills.

  • Detail oriented, pro-active, and comfortable working independently.

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Team-oriented and skilled in working within a collaborative environment.

Physical Demands

  • Predominantly operates in an office environment. Some work (less than 10%) requires frequent bending, moving, and lifting.

  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, power tools, and other computer components.

  • Up to 25% travel required.
