Position Summary:

Assembles, repairs, rebuilds, and maintains Compressor Packages following the specifications of Kodiak Gas Services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Inspects equipment before beginning daily operations

  • Inspects work in progress and finished products

  • Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems

  • Maintains time and production records

  • Performs activities of workers supervised

  • Performs other duties as assigned

Education/Experience Requirements:

  • 1+ year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience required

  • 5+ years Shop or mechanic or related experience preferred

  • High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) required

  • Formal vocational training is preferred

  • Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record

Certifications: Pass Training.

Language Skills : Ability to read, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Computer Skills: Should have general computer skills and be capable of utilizing the computer as an appropriate diagnostic tool.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception and Ability to adjust focus.

Pass the required physical examination, including drug and alcohol screening.
